A brilliant physicist takes on the task of designing the ultimate weapon in this brooding and political US biopic, but will the atom bomb ensure world peace or bring about the destruction of humankind?
This is a dramatization of the life story of J. Robert Oppenheimer, played by Cillian Murphy, who had a large hand in the development of the atomic bomb, thus helping end World War 2.
He is put on trial for his supposed communist ties in the past, all while coming to terms with what it meant to change the history of the world for the sake of winning World War 2.
